Programmable Thermostats

The thermostat is your key to air control and comfort. Because the heating and cooling needs of each building and building-dweller are unique, there are a variety of different thermostat options to choose from, including:
  • Non-Programmable Thermostats: The most basic and affordable option, non-programmable thermostats require manually setting a temperature to meet your comfort. Responding to both heating and cooling systems, non-programmable thermostats also have a “constant fan” setting.

  • Programmable Thermostats: If you’d like your indoor air system to automatically match your daily routine, a programmable thermostat may be the right choice for you. Most programmable thermostats account for four main periods of the day: morning, leave, return, and sleep. By allowing you to “set it and forget it,” this option is a very simple way to save on energy costs and to effortlessly maintain a comfortable indoor temperature.

  • Wi-Fi Thermostats: As the most technologically advanced option on the market, Wi-Fi thermostats offer a variety of bells and whistles for optimal indoor air control. Often controlled with a remote and smartphone app, temperature control can be at the tip of your fingers—anytime, anywhere. As an added bonus, Wi-Fi thermostats also offer automatic notifications if your building’s temperature drops below a certain point, helping avoid emergencies such as frozen plumbing. Plus, when temperatures are extreme and your set schedule will not accommodate the temperatures desired; the thermostat will kick in earlier than usual to ensure your comfort and safety.
